EVN’s investment reach VND40.925T for first 10 months

Electricity of Vietnam invested up to 2.644 trillion dong in October.

This brings the total figure in Jan-Oct to 40.925 trillion dong, or 58.6% of the year’s plan.

Its disbursement value reached 37.383 trillion dong in Jan-Oct, or 53.5% of the year’s plan.

Also in October, EVN kicked off construction on Mong Duong 1 thermo power plant project and put the fourth generator of Son La hydropower plant into operation, signed a credit contract worth six trillion dong for Lai Chau hydropower plant project from social insurance fund source.

In October, EVN’s electricity production and purchase was 9.062 billion kWh, up 7% from the same period last year, of which EVN’s electricity production reached 4.676 billion kWh, a year on year rise of 28% and EVN’s power purchase was 4.386 billion kWh, down 7% on year.

Accumulatively, in Jan-Oct, EVN’s electricity production and purchase was 87.766 billion kWh, up 8.9% on year, of which, electricity production reached 41.539 billion kWh, up 13% and electricity purchase at 46.227 billion kWh, up 6% on year.
