J&K seeks consultancy for 100 mini/micro hydel power projects
An agency from Jammu & Kashmir has invited bids from consulting firms in selecting IPP developers for 100 Mini/Micro Hydro projects.
The Jammu & Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA) has identified certain micro/mini hydel projects to be awarded to private developers for development under IPP mode.
It intends to conduct a bidding process for about 100 Mini/Micro Hydro projects in a cluster of at least 5 projects.
The scope of services for the selected bidder will include review and updating of the project feasibility report prepared by JAKEDA as well as preparation and submission of documents for Request for Proposal.
As per the eligibility criteria laid down by JAKEDA, a bidder should be in the advisory business of the power sector for at least the last 5 years and should have had a minimum annual average turnover of Rs 5 crore in the last 3 years from its consulting business.
JAKEDA is an agency under the department of Science and Technology, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, responsible for developing 2 MW and below mini/micro hydel projects in the state.
