Hanoi to promote energy efficient households

Hanoi will hold more energy efficiency meetings to highlight typical energy efficient households as key factors in the propagation of energy savings in their residential areas.

Last year, Hanoi Energy Conservation Center and Hanoi Women's Association launched an energy efficiency program in all districts of the city. More than 100,000 of 400,000 local households registered to participate, including 45,000 common energy efficient households and 40 special energy efficient households.

According to Director of ECC Hanoi Dao Hong Thai, this year the center expected to coordinate with other agencies, government departments, and local organizations. 

Hanoi Energy Conservation Center recenytly coordinated with Hanoi Power Company and Hanoi Women's Department of Propaganda to hold a training conference on energy savings in households and to award the Household Energy Savings in 2011 Title to a number of local households.
