Vestas’ Stuart wins J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge
With finish time of 19:24 minutes, Ian Stuart came in first at the annual event which saw a turnout of 11,753 entrants.
Vestas is one of the 369 companies that participated in the 5.6km race Thursday from Esplanade Drive to the F1 Pit Building in Singapore.
A J.P. Morgan statement said, "Valued by the business community as an excellent camaraderie building platform and one of healthy competition, the Corporate Challenge welcomed competitive runners and casual walkers, representing companies of all sizes. Starhub led the biggest contingent with 511 participants, followed closely by PricewaterhouseCoopers with over 400 runners. Companies such as Citibank, Credit Suisse, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Cisco Systems were among many that turned up in the hundreds."
Stuart's female counterpart was Vivian Tang of CIMB-GK Securities Pte Ltd with finish time of 21:42 minutes. Meanwhile, as participant organisations were encouraged to deliberate and submit their best team timings online after the race, team results would be announced days after the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge.
