Tata Power to develop 10 GW renewable projects in Gujarat
The projects will be established in around 50,000 acres of land.
Tata Power subsidiary Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited will be developing 10,000 megawatts of renewable energy projects in the state of Gujarat, following the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the local government.
In a disclosure, Tata Power said the projects will cover 50,000 acres of government land including solar, wind, hybrid, round-the-clock, peak, and firm and dispatchable renewable energy projects.

The company added that the projects will have a potential total investment of around $8.4b (INR70,000 crore), creating job opportunities for more than 3,000 people.
Tata Power added that the partnership will support the target of generating half of power from clean energy sources by 2030.
