Over S$250 million to invested in facility on Jurong Island.

Sembcorp Industries said the plant will be the largest in Singapore to date and is capable of producing 140 tonnes per hour of steam from industrial and commercial waste. The facility will offer a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, cutting carbon dioxide emissions by around 50%.
