The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) is looking for interested parties to build, own, and operate a 500 megawatt (MW) ISTS-connected offshore wind power project in the Gulf of Khambha in Gujarat.
According to SECI, it will enter into a 25-year power purchase agreement with the successful bidder to supply energy to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.
The project is eligible for viability gap funding, with a maximum of $96,800 (INR8.128 crore) per megawatt.
SECI said the completion period of the project is 48 months.
