PLN, 3 other firms ink deal to build 70MW wind power plant in Indonesia
These include Total Eren, Adaro Power, and PJBI.
PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) (PLN) entered a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Total Eren S.A., PT Adaro Power (Adaro Power), and PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali Investasi (PJBI), for the construction of a 70-megawatt (MW) wind power plant.
In a joint statement, the companies said the plant to be built in Tanah Laut in South Kalimantan will include a 10MW/10MW-hour battery energy storage system.

The power plant which is expected to start construction at the start of 2024 and to commission by 2025 will supply electricity to the Kalimantan Interconnection system
Tana Laut wind power plant is seen to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 220,000 tonnes annually and contribute to reaching the national carbon dioxide emission reduction target of 34.8%.
