NTPC, Oil India partner to develop RE, green projects
This will facilitate the sharing of knowledge on decarbonisation technologies.
Power utility firm NTPC and state-owned Oil India Limited signed a memorandum of understanding for their collaboration in the areas of renewable energy, green hydrogen and derivatives, geothermal energy, and other decarbonisation efforts.
In a statement, NTPC said the memorandum will enable the sharing of knowledge and experience on upcoming decarbonisation technologies such as carbon sequestration.

The MOU was signed by NTPC Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Shri Gurdeep Singh and OIL CMD Ranjit Rath, and their functional directors.
NTPC aims to have 60 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity by 2032 and be a key industry player in the green hydrogen technology and energy storage sector.
