Tawau Green Energy revealed they're still on track.
Tawau Green Energy Sdn Bhd (TGE) confirmed that Malaysia's first geothermal power plant could start operating as early as 2019.
The company has obtained all approvals to develop, construct, operate, and maintain the 30MW Apas Kiri geothermal power plant.
The project will export 30MW of power to the Saba Grid under a 21-year renewable energy power purchase agreement with Sabah Electricity.
