KPI Green inks PPA for 620 MW grid-connected RE projects in Gujarat
One of the projects is a 370 MW hybrid power plant.
KPI Green Energy Limited has signed power purchase agreements with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for 620 megawatt alternating current (MWAC) of renewable energy projects which will be linked to the grid.
According to a bourse filing, the deal includes a 250 MWAC solar photovoltaic power project the company secured through a competitive bidding process on 15 March 2024. Also part of the deal is a 370 MWAC hybrid RE power project secured through a competitive bidding process dated 14 February 2024.
“We are proud to contribute to the nation’s transition to environment-friendly and sustainable renewable energy, reinforcing and accelerating our commitment to achieve our ambitious target of 10 GW [gigawatt] capacity by 2030,” KPI Green said.
