JSW Energy unit bags SECI contract for 230 MW of renewable energy
This increased the company’s total generation to 16.4 GW.
JSW Neo Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has received the letter of award from Solar Energy Corporation of India for supply of 230 megawatts (MW) of clean power.
In a bourse filing, JSW Energy said the capacity was awarded following a tariff-based competitive bid invited for supply of 630 MW firm and dispatchable power from inter state transmission system-connected renewable energy projects
JSW Energy said the contract increased its total locked-in generation capacity to 16.4 gigawatts (GW), which includes 2.3 GW of locked-in hybrid capacity.
By fiscal year 2025, JSW Energy expects to have an installed generation capacity of 10 GW, up from 7.5 GW currently.
