Enfinity Global secures $195m financing for Japan solar power plant
The project could supply 11% of Aomori City’s residential power demand.
Enfinity Global bagged $195m in long-term financing for a 70-megawatt solar power plant in Japan.
In a statement, Enfinity said the power plant is part of its 250 MW solar portfolio in the country.
Nomura Securities International was the initial lead arranger/sole bookrunner, whilst Aozora Bank was the lead arranger/agent.

The project, located in Aomori Prefecture, is expected to produce over 75 gigawatt-hours of clean energy annually, meeting the demand of 11% of Aomori City’s residential energy requirement which is equivalent to about 15,600 households.
The project is also expected to cut around 35,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
