Coro Energy to develop 100 MW onshore wind farm in the Philippines

This is the company’s second wind energy service contract in the country

Coro Energy will be developing a 100-megawatt (MW) onshore wind farm for the second area of interest of the Oslob Wind Power Project in the Philippines.

This came after the Philippines’ Department of Energy approved its application for a wind energy service contract for the project, Coro Energy said.

The company added that the project will also benefit from the recently installed 130-metre meteorological mast particularly in gathering data and determining wind resources.

The Philippines is expecting to see more than 4,000 MW of power projects come online this year, including the 161.2 MW that are already operational.
