Clenergy to build 100MW PV projects in Lijiang
Will invest US$163 million to complete projects.
Sino-Austrian joint venture Clenergy International has signed signs a project agreement with officials of Huaping County in Lijiang, a prefecture-level city in the northwest of Yunnan province.
A solar mounting system manufacturer, Clenergy will develop 100 MW of PV projects in Huaping. The projects form the first part of a 300 MW development venture Clenergy agreed with Chinese solar provider CGN Solar Energy earlier this year.
Clenergy said the projects will cover a total area of 530 square kilometers. The 20MW initial phase of the project in Huaping’s Zhongxin Town is expected to begin producing energy in August 2014.
Clenergy is a technology company that designs, manufactures and distributes a range of renewable energy products for the solar photovoltaic market.
