ACEN Australia inks PPA with SmartestEnergy for New England Solar
SmartestEnergy will take 25% of the electricity generated from the project’s first stage.
ACEN Australia and SmartestEnergy signed an eight-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for the offtake of 25% of the output of the 400-megawatt (MW) Stage 1 of ACEN’s New England Solar project.
In a joint statement, the companies said the agreement will help SmartestEnergy reduce sourcing from power generation with higher emissions intensity.
