2 CR Power wind farms get approved

China Resources Power's Huilai Guanshan Wind Farm and Penglai Xujiaji Wind Farm have obtained approval from the PRC Government.

Located in Zhoutian Town, Huilai County, Jieyang, Guangdong Province, Guanshan Wind Farm has an installed capacity of 49.6MW and comprises 23 units of 2MW and 2 units of 1.8MW wind turbine generators. CR Power wholly owns the wind farm. Total investment is estimated to be approximately US$73 million. The wind farm is expected to commence commercial operation in 2010 and electricity generated will be dispatched to the Guangdong power grid.

Located in Penglai Xujiaji, Yantai City, Shandong Province, Xujiaji Wind Farm has an installed capacity of 48MW and comprises 24 units of 2MW wind turbine generators. CR Power has a 95 percent interest in the wind farm. Total investment is estimated to be approximately US$73 million. The wind farm is expected to commence commercial operation in 2010 and electricity generated will be dispatched to the Shandong power grid.
