Cleantech Solar commissions 914 kwp PV rooftop on Malaysian medical facility

More than 2,600 solar panels have been built.

Singapore-based renewable energy provider Cleantech Solar successfully commissioned the construction of a solar PV rooftop for Molnlycke Health Care, a Swedish medical solutions company with a facility in Malaysia.

Over 2,600 solar panels have been deployed on top of Molnlycke’s manufacturing facility located in Kuala Ketil via a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA). The fully operating 914 kwp PV will be operated and maintained by Cleantech Solar across the term of the PPA.

Further into the contract, the PPA between the two companies will see the generation of approximately 23,400 mwh of clean energy with a target to move away from emitting 16,200 tonnes of CO2.
