Canadian Solar to supply PV modules for Chinese power plant

Modules have a total capacity of 32 MW. Canadian Solar will supply the solar PV modules to a power plant of China Perfect Machinery Industry. Canadian Solar’s CS6X-P modules have power output of 295 Wp and 300 Wp. China Perfect Machinery said it selected Canadian Solar for its project based on the latter’s impressive industry experience and reputation as a reliable partner. Canadian Solar CEO Shawn Qu said the latest order is a major step in the company's efforts to expand its market presence in China. "Clearly, demand for solar modules in China is picking up nicely in the fourth quarter of 2013, with improving pricing and more attractive payment terms and we remain optimistic China will be the largest solar PV market this year and in the foreseeable future,” he said.
