RATCH Group's Australian subsidiary inks 10-year PPA with ZEN Energy
The Collector Wind Farm and Starfish Hill Wind Farm will supply electricity to ZEN Energy.
RATCH Group’s Australia subsidiary signed a 10-year private power purchase agreement (PPA) with ZEN Energy Retail to deliver electricity from its wind farm to the local electricity retailer.
In a statement, Thailand’s RATCH Group said ZEN Energy will take 20.6% of the power generated from the 226.8-megawatt (MW) Collector Wind Farm in New South Wales.
The wind farm now has three off-takers which include Iberdrola Australia Energy Markets at 60% and ALDI Food Pty Ltd at 19.4%.
ZEN Energy will also take all the electricity produced from the 33 MW Starfish Hill Wind Farm in South Australia.

RATCH Australia is operating 887.69 MW of renewable energy generation, said RATCH Group CEO Choosri Kietkajornkul. The subsidiary is also developing 514 MW of renewable energy projects.
“In the meantime, it has been dealing a long-term PPA with business partners who look for renewable electricity to achieve their greenhouse gas reduction and/or net zero emission goals,” Choosri said.
“To date, the development of a New South Wales-base 152-MW solar power project combined with 81-MW battery energy storage system is ongoing progressively and expects commercial operation in 2026 which consequently strengthens the company's financial stability,” she added.
