KEC International wins $65.17M transmission in Tamil Nadu
KEC International has secured an order worth Rs 361 crore or US$65.17 million for a 400 kV double circuit transmission line to be set up in Tamil Nadu.
The turnkey project, which has been awarded by the Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited is likely to be completed in about 18 months. The total length of the line is 114 kms.
The infrastructure company has also received an order for the supply and establishment of an optical ground wire communication systems on a turnkey basis from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.
The Rs 30 crore order for the north-eastern region of the country has a scheduled duration of fifteen months.
The total length of the network is more than 1,100 kms.
