
CR Power's 11-month net generation up 28.1%
China Resources Power’s net generation in November 2010 increased by 19.5 per cent to 8,537,293 MWh from last year. They generated 7,145,758 MWh for the same period in 2009. Furthermore, total net generation for the first eleven months of 2010, on a consolidated basis, increased by 28.1 per cent to 85,583,600 MWh compared to 66,818,470MWh for the same period last year.
On a same plant basis, total net generation for the first eleven months of 2010 increased by 3.0 per cent compared to the same period last year. Power plants located in Henan, Hebei, Jiangsu, Guangdong and other service provinces recorded 11.4, 7., 5, 4 and 6.8 per cent increases year on year, respectively.
Power plants located in Liaoning province recorded a 29.4 per cent decrease year on year, as three 200MW coal-fired units in Jinzhou Power Plant ceased operations.
