Asia Pacific's annual wind turbine installation capacity is expected to reach 33.14GW by 2023, putting the region in the lead in the wind turbine market, GlobalData reported.

APAC is projected to continue leading the market with an aggregate capacity of 312.39GW, followed by Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and the Americas with 88.41GW and 66.36GW, respectively.
The region lead the onshore market, posting an aggregate capacity of 138.20GW from 2014 to 2018. A large part of the growth in the region came from China, which has established comprehensive development plans focused on using renewable energy.
In the offshore market EMEA dominated the market and is expected to continue as it is set to reach 4.77GW in 2023.
