NAES to provide maintenance services for 400MW power plant in Singapore
NAES Corp will provide operations and maintenance services for the 400MW combined-cycle power plant being constructed in Singapore by Tuaspring.
The plant will provide energy for the desalination plant located nearby of Tuasprings, a subsidiary of Hyflux.
Excess power generated by the plant will be sold to the National Electricity Market of Singapore.
"We are building a strong legacy of combined-cycle experience, and we are going to be applying the proven processes and programmes that promote safety, compliance, performance, and cost effectiveness, for which we are well known," said NAES president and CEO, John Brewster.
Olivia Lum, Hyflux executive chairman and group CEO, said: "We are pleased to have NAES as our power plant O&M partner for our Tuaspring desalination project."
