Azure Power appoints new Chairman of the Board

Board member M.S. Unnikrishnan will replace Alan Rosling.

Azure Power has appointed M.S. Unnikrishnan as Chairman of the Board after Alan Rosling resigned from the position and the board of Azure Power Global Limited and Azure Power India Private Limited, effective 11 October.

Unnikrishnan joined the Board of Directors for Azure Power last August 2020 and made a vast contribution during his term. He once served as Managing Director and CEO of leading industrial manufacturer Thermax.

For over 30 years in the energy and environmental sector, he has remained an active figure in the policymaking for technological development in India.
