Adani Green cash profit up 32% to $16.68m in Q1 FY 2025
Thanks to capacity expansion.
Adani Green Energy said its cash profit increased by 32% to $16.68m (INR1,390 crore) in the first quarter (Q1) of fiscal year 2025 driven by the addition of 2,618 megawatts (MW) in its capacity.
In a statement, the company said the increased capacity also lifted revenue by 24% to $30.33m (INR2,528 crore), and its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation by 23% to $28.48m (INR2,374 crore) from a year earlier.
As of Q1, Adani Green said it expanded its operational capacity to 10,934 MW, up by 31% from a year ago. This includes 2,000 MW of solar capacity in Khavda, 418 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan and 200 MW of wind capacity in Gujarat.
“Adani Green is well on track to achieve its 2030 capacity target of 50 GW including at least 5 GW energy storage in the form of pumped hydro, with sites already secured and clear visibility on evacuation. The global recognition of our ESG efforts further strengthens our resolve to deliver sustainable, industry-leading growth,” Adani Green CEO Amit Singh said.
