ReNew exceeds 10 GW capacity
This came following the completion of a 1.94 GW project.
ReNew finished the construction of a 1.94-gigawatt (GW) renewable energy project, boosting its total capacity to over 10 gigawatts (GW).
In a statement, ReNew said its revenue generation capacity stood at 9.52 GW as of 31 March 2024.
In financial year 2024, the company added 1,174 MW of solar and 768 MW of wind energy which is the highest-ever wind capacity additions in a single year.

During the period, the company accounted for around 10% of the country’s total wind and energy generation.
“We will double the amount of clean energy we generate over the next few years, whilst continuing our work to be completely carbon neutral as a company by 2040,” Chairperson and CEO Sumant Sinha said.
The company aims to reach 20 gigawatts of renewable energy portfolio by 2027/28.
