Here's more from Jefferies:
We did see YoY increases in wind power generation in provinces such as Heilongjiang (+65% YoY) and Gansu (+18.7% YoY) and other provinces which have struggled with curtailment showed signs of stabilizing. Notably, Inner Mongolia (-21% YoY) and Jilin (-16% YoY) wind power generation fell in September.
Wind power utilization hours have seen an improvement in July and August (September data is not yet available) and the overcapacity in the power industry may be peaking as new thermal additions have slowed to 601MW in August.
