Mundra UMPP Unit-I boiler light-up due this month
CGPL will conclude the boiler light-up for the first unit of the 4,000 MW Mundra UMPP by end of this month. It was originally scheduled on February 2011.

The developer has also completed the erection of main frame structures for Units IV and V.

Likewise, the third, fourth and fifth units will be commissioned in February, June and September 2012, as compared to their corresponding schedule of July, November 2012 and March 2013.
