Sky Solar to build 50MW PV station in Qinghai

Sky Solar Holdings will build a 50MW large-scale PV power station project in Gonghe County, Qinghai, China.

The project, being developed by Sky Solar subsidiary, Gonghe County Tianhua New Energy Power Co., has a three -month construction plan and 25-year operation period.

The estimated total investment of the project is US$94 million and the average annual generating capacity is about 79.5 million kWh.

Sky Solar Holdings said that, based on the current average standard coal consumption of thermal power, the PV power station will save an estimated 656 thousand tons of standard coal, with a decrease of 6,000 tons of dust and 1.4 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
