China shares wind energy technology
Recipients are developing nations in Asia and Africa.
A program designed to share Chinese wind energy technology with developing countries was launched in China’s Gansu province. The program is the first of six planned this year that will share China's renewable energy development technology.
The program's launch was attended by 19 officials, business executives and technicians from 11 Asian and African countries, including Sudan, Yemen and Ethiopia.
Lectures on wind energy technology and field visits will be arranged over the next two months. Chinese specialists will share their experience regarding wind technology design, utilization and maintenance.
China is the world's largest wind power generator in terms of installed capacity. Gansu's wind and solar resources are particularly abundant.
